Vaikobi is pleased to announce the Race date for the 2026 Shaw and Partners 20 Beaches Ocean Classic for Saturday, November 14th!
This date will allow competitors to link together some of the World's best Ocean Paddling races over consecutive weekends starting with the Pete Marlin in South Africa, Hong Kong Dragon Run, 20 Beaches in Sydney, the West Coast Downwinder and finishing with the Shaw and Partners Doctor in Perth.

2 race days down for the World Championship on Sydney Harbour and already the fleet has been tested through a range of wind strengths and directions. Yandoo has shot to the lead with two race wins but behind them is a big pack of chasers with Australia and then Shaw and Partners New Zealand in 2nd and 3rd followed by , Rag and Famish and the mighty in 6th.
Racing continues tomorrow after the today's lay-day with two short course races scheduled.

Walter Heeley showing a clean set of Heels at the Australian Opti Nationals in Hobart, Tasmania, nicely leading the regatta with one day to go.
Great to see well over 100 junior sailors travel to Tasmania for this event.

We are down to the business end of the regatta for the 16' Skiff National Championship and our two top Vaikobi Teams have risen to the top with two races to go.
Vaikobi's Shade to Order Team with Tom Burton Scott Beeby and Joel Skelton have a tight lead from Bosker Build and our other Vaikobi Team and defending champions Barnabas Building in 3rd with Joel Beashel, Trent Barnabas and Rob Napper.
Race 8 is scheduled for today with the final race 9 tomorrow up at Belmont, Lake Macquarie.
