🧘♂️ Meditation is More Than Just Sitting Still
Rod explains that meditation is a dynamic, pulsating interplay between the subtle aspects of our inner world and how we interact with the outer world. Through meditation, we begin to notice how our internal state shapes our experiences and gets reflected in our daily lives.
As you practice, you start to feel this shift, how the calm and awareness you cultivate on the cushion influence how you move through the world.
Tag someone who could benefit from this wisdom, or share with a fellow meditator!
✨ Your body is a sacred pathway of energy.
In yogic philosophy, the chakras are not just symbols — they are portals of consciousness, guiding us from the physical to the subtle, from the self to the soul.
Beginning at the base and rising upward through the spine:
🌱 Root — Muladhara: Foundation, safety, belonging
🔥 Sacral — Svadhisthana: Creation, desire, flow
🌊 Solar Plexus — Manipura: Willpower, identity, inner fire
💚 Heart — Anahata: Love, compassion, expansion
🔵 Throat — Vishuddha: Truth, expression, purity
💙 Third Eye — Ajna: Insight, intuition, perception
💜 Crown — Sahasrara: Awakening, unity, divine connection
As energy rises through these centres, we move from survival to
transcendence — from ‘I am’ to ‘I am one with all.’

Ayurvedic secret for gentle lentils 🌿
Lentils, like split yellow moong dal, red lentils, or split mung beans, are a part of Ayurvedic cooking. They’re light, nourishing, and an excellent source of plant-based protein that’s easy on the digestive system when prepared mindfully.
One key step is skimming off the foam that rises to the top while cooking. In Ayurveda, this frothy layer is seen as ama, a build-up of impurities that can lead to bloating or sluggish digestion.
✨ This tip makes your lentils easier to digest.

A sequence to release tension from the hips.
Each posture is held for 1 minute, allowing the body to soften gradually rather than force flexibility.
Move slowly through the sequence:
1. Start with a low lunge to open the front of the hips.
2. Shift into Yogic Squat to ground and release deep tension in the pelvis.
3. Come into Butterfly Pose to soften the inner hips and lower back.
4. Lift into Supported Bridge (with a block) to gently open the front body and hip flexors.
5. Move into Half Happy Baby to release the lower back and hips.
6. Finish with a supine pigeon pose to unwind deeper tension in the outer hips and glutes.
End in Savasana, allowing everything to integrate.
SAVE this for your next hip reset practice. 🌿

In Ayurveda, the doshas are energetic forces that shape our body, mind, emotions, and tendencies. Most of us are a unique blend of all three, with one or two often more dominant.
The beautiful part? Ayurveda teaches us how to return to balance through simple daily practices, food, rest, movement, and rhythm.
Which one do you resonate with most: Vata, Pitta, or Kapha? Let us know in the comments.
