Sea Kayak SwitchBlade 17ft sectional Sea Kayak in Action 09/11/2015

The switchblade 17ft sectional Sea kayak being tested by Josh Brown, World Junior Paddle Board Champion and current Nutri Grain Iron Man competitor. Immediately after this was taken he started in a grueling Iron Man event which included running, surf ski paddling and paddle boarding. Josh is 6Ft 4 tall and weighs 189 lbs or 90 kgs. We usually only recommend the kayak as being suitable for people up to 6ft 2 but he fitted in and really enjoyed his paddle through the surf. Normally he competes on a surf ski in Iron man events so he found the Switchblade interesting. It was his first paddle in a sea kayak and he didn't know what to do with the spray deck when I handed it to him...LOL.

The New Plastic Version 21/08/2015

Becasue of the amount of interest we have recieved we decided to manufacture in plastic instead of fibreglass. That way we can keep up with demand and make it cheaper. So here are some pics of the 3D computer model that will be used to make the mould for the plastic version. The piece in the middle of the cockpit is the aft hatch which is cut from the waste of the cockpit. What do you think of the way it looks?
