It has been quite the year for Emily Banks & MILLUNGERAS PEARLA (by Hazelwood Conman). Back in May this year they won the Geurie Novice B breaking status to Open Horse. On Friday they smashed the Geurie Golden Bit Campdraft OPEN FOR OPEN with a huge 91 (22 65 4).

Geurie Campdraft's page describes the event beautifully, "Some of the best horses, plenty of competition, a few questionable song choices and exactly the atmosphere we hoped bringing back a little piece of old-school Golden Bit would create. 🤠"

The Barb Cookson Memorial Ladies draft at Dirranbandi firmly belongs to BOBADIL CONDANCE this year. Not only did she and Kate Southern win this weekend with an 88 & 89, they also won the same memorial back in April at the Dirranbandi Show.

Condance, owned by Richard & Suzy Kelaher, is by Hazelwood Conman, out of their great mare Bobadil Acres Dior.

495 starters and the Willinga at Juandah Plains Open has been run and won by Flutter & Pete O'Neill, the most unassuming, humble man and deserving winner. Huge congratulations to Pete & Toni & to Mark & Shelley Ruff.

We won't say much more at this stage we'd like to give them the spotlight they deserve.

But, and it's a big but, it would be remiss of us if we did not give a shoutout to Mark Buttsworth & Nonda Southern Cross. First foot in the arena in 22 months and it's like they never left, 2 scores of 88.5 & and 89 in the Restricted Open. Denzel lives for this, he was born for this.

Congratulations to all other placegetters, we'll look closer at the breakdown in the days ahead.

It took 2 rounds and a 2-way run off to decide the winner of the Willinga at Juandah Plains Maiden, nailbiting to the finish. Congratulations to Zeb Pearce & Emerald Park Performance Horses' mare Super Tuff Kitty and all other placegetters.

There were 169 starters in the Willinga at Juandah Plains Restricted Open and we were treated to one great run after another. 35 competed in what was a nail biting final.

With 3 tying on 180 we braced ourselves for a run off, but out at draw #92 HALLS ACCLAIM (by Acres Destiny) & Ben Hall pulled an equal show topping 92 to give the judge an early mark.

Great to see yet another 2 of our stallions in the mix, TIME CHEX & NASHVALE ROY ELL DESTINY, both with Pete Comiskey.

Congratulations to Ben & all other placegetters, brilliant drafting.

Congratulations also to Mark Buttsworth who won his 3rd cutout for the week with Peps Double Rey.

MACKELMORE CHEX & Bryony Puddicombe are up there with the best of them at Willinga at Juandah Park. They qualified for Rd2 of the Open and this 90 sees them enter today's Maiden final in prime position.

Mack will stand at Darlington Stud Greenmount. Chilled & Frozen Semen will be available, as well as Live Cover upon approval. His contract is now available for online completion.
