This is what happened!!

Hi,
So we won the playoff for 3rd and 4th!! 🙌🏼🎉
Finished 3rd overall.
First game 2 nil win against Bribie
Second game 2 - 1 loss against Gympie
Third game 2 all draw after being 2 nil down against eventual grand final winners Maroochydore.
Quarter final 1 nil win against Emerald.
Semifinal 1 all draw lost on penalties against last year winners and grandfinalists St Andrews.
3rd and 4th playoff game 1 nil win against Gympie.

The effort and attitudes displayed by the team on and off the field representing the club were outstanding. That was one tough tournament.

A big shout-out to Zac Collins, nominated for Coach of the Year! ⚽💙

His nomination recognised the commitment he brings to training and coaching. Zac is often the first to arrive and the last to leave, and he keeps looking for new ways to help players and the team improve. That dedication gives young players a strong example of what it means to keep showing up and working together.

Thank you, Zac, for the effort you put into your players!

A shout-out to Tammie Ziebell, nominated for Coach of the Year! ⚽💙

In her first year coaching with the club, Tammie helped guide her team to the grand finals. Her nominator especially valued how she brought quieter players out of their shells, encouraged everyone to do their best and taught teamwork and respect without pressure or shouting.

Thank you, Tammie, for the confidence and care you’ve brought to your team!

Congratulations to Josh Rose on his Coach of the Year nomination! ⚽💙

Families from U10 Blue praised the positive team culture he creates. They described a coach who communicates well, gives every player an opportunity, encourages good sportsmanship and helps the kids learn even when a game doesn’t go their way. One family spoke about how much their son and the whole team have grown in confidence and skill under Josh’s guidance.

Thank you, Josh, for helping the boys enjoy football and thrive together!
