Congratulations to Abbie Bastian, who has been called into the Aussie Spirit squad for the upcoming Japan Tour.

Abbie joins the travelling group following the withdrawal of Alyssa Mighell, who will miss the tour due to injury.

We wish Alyssa a full and speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back on the diamond soon 💚💛

We’re pumped to officially welcome McKenna Meadors to Hills Heat for the 2026/27 season! 🔥

McKenna brings plenty of experience to the Blue & Green, with NCAA Division I & II experience, overseas seasons in Germany and Spain, and an impressive 2026 European campaign.

A pitcher, 1B and 3B, McKenna has already made her mark overseas, including a .464 AVG with CBS Rivas in Spain this season. 👀💥

We can’t wait to see what she brings to the Heat Family both on and off the field!

Interested in becoming an umpire or just want to brush up on the rules?

Hills Softball Association is holding an Umpire Course open to beginners, those looking for a refresher, or anyone wanting to gain their Level 1 Umpire Certification.

Sunday 13th September
9am–3pm
Lunch provided

Between completing the online component, attending the training day and being observed umpiring a few games, you can become a certified Level 1 Umpire.

It’s a great opportunity to get qualified in time for the Junior Championships and be ready for the 2026/27 season.
