We're incredibly proud of Luc Launder and Carly Salmon named in the CommBank Pararoos and CommBank ParaMatildas squads for the IFCPF World Cups in Atlanta, USA.⚡👏

A remarkable achievement from two outstanding athletes and former All-Abilities players.

Their journey shows the power of inclusive football and the impact of strong community pathways across the ACT and surrounding region.

And now that the season is officially over… it doesn’t mean the Board’s responsibilities are! 👀

While the rest of us get to put our boots away, the Board continues working tirelessly behind the scenes all year round. There’s no real off-season when you’re running a football club, and these four superstars deserve every bit of our gratitude and appreciation. 🧡🖤

First up, we have our President, Driscoll. 👑
He has stepped into the role and absolutely nailed it, taking on the challenge effortlessly and continuing to give so much to LUFC. We couldn’t ask for a better President!

Next up, our Vice President, Nugget. 🧡
This year, Nugget has helped take LUFC to the next level, and because of her hard work, the club is now officially recognised as a 1 Star Club ⭐️

This is a HUGE achievement for Lanyon United and one that will open plenty of doors and opportunities for the future.

Then we have our Secretary, Hilly. 📝
Working behind the scenes keeping everything organised.

And last but certainly not least, our Treasurer, Brady. 💰This Board genuinely wouldn’t have been possible without Brady stepping up and putting his hand up to be part of it. We are incredibly grateful that he took on the role and became part of the team.

So, can we please give these four a MASSIVE round of applause? 👏👏👏

Their dedication, time, effort and commitment to Lanyon United throughout the year does not go unnoticed. 🧡🖤

And now… onto the next event! 😂

Now that Presentation Night is finally ticked off the list, it’s time to start planning the next one! Because apparently we don’t know how to sit still. 😂

We can’t wait to see what the future holds and, eventually, pass the reins over to the 2027 LUFC Board.

🎥 HUGE, HUGE, HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR BIG DAWG GRANT! 🐐🧡🖤

Grant has gone above and beyond this season, putting in the time and effort to set up the recordings for our matches — and what an absolute ripper it has been being able to watch them back!

Now that the season is wrapped up, these recordings mean even more. They’ve given us the chance to relive the wins, the battles, the goals, the laughs and all those little moments we might otherwise have forgotten. ⚽️❤️

A massive thank you, Grant, for not only making it happen but for putting in the extra hours to edit, upload and organise everything. That’s time and effort you’ve given to the club, and we genuinely appreciate it.

You’ve helped create memories that we’ll be able to look back on for years to come. 🥹📹

Cassidy & Nugget spent their Saturday getting stuck into the shed — culling, cleaning, reorganising and getting everything ship-shape for the new season! 💪🏼

This is what volunteering is all about — getting your hands dirty, sacrificing your time and doing the absolute most for this soccer club. 🧡🖤

SO… you’ve officially been warned! 👀

Let’s keep this shed CLEAN, TIDY & ORGANISED this season, because if Cassidy & Nugget have to come back in and clean it again… you’ll owe them BIG TIME! 😂
