Southern Valley Spartans Basketball Club The Southern Valley Spartans Basketball club is a principal club in the Basketball ACT competition.

The Tuggeranong Southern Cross (TSC) Basketball Club is a principal club in the Basketball ACT competition. Basketball is played all year round and we enter teams in the men's, women's, mixed and junior competitions. We have junior teams for both boys and girls of all abilities from Under 10 to Under 19 age groups. The club serves suburbs in the northern and central parts of Tuggeranong and we also have players from many other parts of Canberra. Most training is at the Southern Cross Basketball Stadium near the Tuggeranong Town Centre. Games can be played at the Southern Cross Basketball Stadium and/or Basketball ACT's Belconnen Stadium.

We’re looking for volunteers to coach boys teams of all ages this summer season.
Our coaches are fully supported with skills, mentoring and we’re more than happy for coaches to work in pairs if that suits you!
Every coach receives a $100 gift card as a thank you.

Basketball ACT are running three Female Coach Development Workshops, beginning in late October!

Those that attend will have the ability to obtain their Bronze Competitions Coach Accreditation, which is the minimum requirement for those looking to be involved in the BACT Representative Program.

There will be a variety of presenters over the course of the program, with content suitable for all levels of coaching.

A massive congratulations to our U19 Div 2 girls who have gone BACK-TO-BACK and taken home the GOLD! 🥇🔥

The girls finished 4th going into finals and then showed everyone exactly what they’re capable of. They knocked off the #1 ranked team to earn their spot in the Grand Final, before taking on the #2 ranked team and getting the job done! 💪🏀

What an incredible finals campaign from our girls! They never gave up, backed each other, and continued to fight right through to the final whistle.
