💙🤍 How amazing is our club and its volunteers! 🤍💙

Last night Central Juniors attended the Hunter Junior Rugby League Awards, where we had the following nominations:

⭐️ Club of the Year

⭐️ Coach of the Year: Male Team - Brad Taylor

⭐️ Volunteer of the Year - Vikki Dickinson

And what an amazing night it was!
Brad and Vikki walked away as winners in their categories! 🏆

How lucky are we to have these two as part of our club and to see just how much they dedicate to all of us. The time, effort and passion they put into our club and our kids does not go unnoticed.

Congratulations Brad and Vikki! You are both absolutely amazing, and we are so incredibly proud of you both! 💙🤍

This Saturday, 5 September, Central Juniors is proud to host 8 Junior Grand Final games from 9am - and we need plenty of helping hands to make it a fantastic day for all of the visiting players and clubs! 🏆🏉

We’re looking for volunteers to help out on the BBQ and in the canteen throughout the day. Whether you can spare just one hour or maybe a few, every bit of help makes a huge difference! 🙌

It’s a big day for our club and a great opportunity to enjoy some quality junior footy and be part of our team off the field too. 💙

💙🤍💛 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE U13 CENTRAL SHARKS! 💛🤍💙

Our U13 Central Sharks’ season came to an end yesterday, going down 22–14 to a very strong Scone Thoroughbreds team in an intense and physical defensive battle.

Every player gave 100%, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far this team has come.

From two clubs unsure if they could field a team, Central Charlestown and Belmont North Sharks joined together, and these boys had to learn to play together, trust each other and become one united team.

And what a team they became! Finishing 3rd in their competition, behind two very strong Group 21 teams, is an incredible achievement. 👏

A huge thank you to our coaches Kade and Chop, first aiders Kurt and Adam, and every parent and family member who helped make this season happen for our boys against the odds. 💙

Next year will look a little different as the boys return to their respective clubs, Central Charlestown JRLFC and Belmont North Sharks. Both clubs have already had interest from new players, and we hope this season will help both clubs build two very strong teams in 2027.

Big day for Central on Saturday!

First of all we have our U13 Central Sharks kicking off against Scone at Dudley oval at 10:10pm. Let’s fill the hill with blue and white and cheer are juniors home! 💙🤍

Then in the afternoon get yourselves back to St John Oval to cheer our Reggie’s and First Grade teams on in their Preliminary finals!

Free entry to all U16s - any of our U17s and U18s that would like a ticket please message Vikki to get your name added to the list.

This year, we are looking for one Male and one Female Club Captain to proudly represent the players of Central Charlestown JRLFC.


Our Club Captains will be leaders, role models and ambassadors for our club on and off the field.


As a Club Captain, you will:

⭐ Represent Central Charlestown JRLFC and our players with pride
⭐ Be a positive role model for players of all ages
⭐ Mentor and inspire our younger players
⭐ Lead by example through respect, teamwork and sportsmanship
⭐ Support and encourage your fellow players
⭐ Assist the club with events and activities where possible
⭐ Help create a positive, inclusive and welcoming club environment
