Wingham Junior Rugby League

Wingham Junior Rugby League Wingham Junior Rugby League currently has over 240 junior players, with the junior teams consisting of Under 6’s through to Under 16’s and Girls League Tag.

These teams are coached by dedicated supporters, parents and former league players

It is the intention of the club to nurture and develop local juniors within the area into not only outstanding athletes but also as prominent and respected members of the community.

A special shout-out to the boys who put their hands up and volunteered to help referee for the day. It’s fantastic to see our young players willing to step up, give back and help make days like this possible.

We really appreciate the time and effort from all of our referees today — thank you for helping the day run so smoothly! 👏💛

A huge day of Group 3 Major Semi Final action kicks off from 10.15am, before our First Grade Tigers take on the Port Sharks at 3.00pm for a spot in the GRAND FINAL!

🧡🖤 U13 Boys were unlucky last week but showed great spirit and have 2nd chance to lock in a spot in the tier 2 GF!

Unlucky loss for our U16LT girls last week which has ended their season. We are very proud of their progress this year and wish those backing up in seniors all the best in their finals.

Check out our awesome Under 6s crew who came out and provided entertainment at half time for 1st Grade Wingham Tigers ladies day!!

They were pumped to run out of sheds once more and take the field to showcase their skills and grab a high 5 with some of our local legends.

A huge thank you to senior league for the invite to be part of an awesome day of footy in Wingham and congratulations on a huge effort this season to take out the Minor Premiership title 🧡🖤
