✨The Grand Final of the SWSbank Winter Comp was a fantastic end to a wonderful season.

The final game of the season started of quick. The Penguins came in confident after their win over the Redbacks two weeks ago, but the Redbacks were hungry for redemption.

In a fast and furious contest, the defending premiers held strong and protected their title, finishing with a 3–1 victory.

Congratulations Redbacks for holding on to the title and taking out the 2026 premiership🏆

Well done Penguins — you had an incredible 2026 season and gave it your all in the Grand Final 💛👏

🙌 Thank you to Mark Brooker and Michael Adams who did a superb job umpiring the game.

🙏 Thank you David Webster, Aiden Gunderson and Adam Gunderson for manning the tech bench and helping the game run smoothly.

Thank you to all the spectators who came down and cheered loudly for their teams. You created an incredible atmosphere and lifted the energy all game.

Thank you all players for another fantastic season. We hope to see you all on the 19th September to celebrate another year of hockey.

✨ The 2026 Grand Final is here ✨

🏆After an incredible season, the final showdown hits off this Sunday at 2:00pm at Sawpit Gully Oval.

The Penguins and Redbacks are set for a massive battle for the 2026 premiership.

No team has managed to remove the title from the defending champions......... could this be the year of the Penguins? 🐧

Bring your colours, bring your voice — see you Sunday for the big one! ✌

✨The Final of the SWSbank Winter Comp was intense to the end!

The Final had everything — tension, twists, and a crowd on the edge of their seats 😮🔥

After a 2–2 full‑time score, 20 minutes of extra time saw both teams strike again, finishing 3–3.

That meant the Redbacks advance to the Grand Final as the top‑ranked team! 🏆

🥅 Goal Scorers: Michael Adams, Kristy White, Levi Smith (Vikings), Zac Williams [2] and Luke Cosgrove (Redbacks)

A massive shout‑out to the Vikings — they fought to the very last second and should be proud of their 2026 season 💛👏
