Mitchell Starc has moved past Dale Steyn in the Test wickets tally.
The Australian left-arm quick now has 441 Test wickets, overtaking Steyn’s 439 wickets. Starc reached the mark in his 205th bowling innings, while Steyn took his 439 wickets in 171 innings.
Starc’s numbers remain outstanding: a Test bowling average of 26.2, economy rate of 3.43, and strike rate of 45.9, with 19 five-wicket hauls and a best of 7/58.
Steyn finished his legendary Test career with a bowling average of 22.9, economy rate of 3.25, and strike rate of 42.3, including 26 five-wicket hauls and a best of 7/51.
A huge milestone for Starc as he moves beyond one of the greatest fast bowlers in Test cricket history.
