Wil je je kennis als referee verder verdiepen, je eerste stappen zetten als scheidsrechter of je voorbereiden op het examen Graad 4? Dan ben je van harte welkom op het Seminarie voor Referees op zaterdag 5 september 2026 in Snookerclub Sint-Martinus in Gent.


Het seminarie wordt verzorgd door Olivier Marteel, WST Senior Referee & Assessor, en richt zich tot zowel ervaren en beginnende referees als kandidaat-referees. Na afloop krijgen kandidaten bovendien de mogelijkheid om het examen voor Graad 4 af te leggen.


Deze sessie wordt in het Nederlands gegeven. Op zaterdag 3 oktober 2026 volgt een Franstalig seminarie; meer informatie daarover volgt later.


Vooraf inschrijven is niet verplicht, maar om praktische redenen ontvangen we graag een seintje via [email protected].

EVANS SHINES IN SHENZHEN QUALIFIERS 🇨🇳

Reanne Evans continued her strong start to the WST season by defeating Michael Larkov 5-3 in the Shenzhen Open qualifiers yesterday with a top break of 109!

🏆 PANCHAYA CHANNOI IS WORLD WOMEN'S SNOOKER CHAMPION 2026! 🏆

Thailand's Panchaya Channoi has defeated Reanne Evans 6-2 to win the World Women's Snooker Championship for the first time in her career.

The 18-year-old claimed the scalps of Bai Yulu, Mink Nutcharut and Evans to earn a breakthrough first WWS Tour title and secure a two-year professional WST card.

She becomes the second player to complete the world and Under-21 title double, emulating the achievement of Bai in 2024.

She becomes the third Thai winner of the event, following in the footsteps of Mink and Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan.
