29.11.25 — Brussels Boulder Battle (BBB) at Petite Île!

From 16h to 20h, we’re hosting the first round of the Brussels Boulder Battle (BBB)! To learn more about the competition, check the link in bio or look at our previous posts for all the details.

There will be 3 prizes for women and 3 prizes for men!
To participate, simply sign up on the BBB website — it’s free and there’s no obligation to join other sessions. (Link in bio) You can also register on-site with the help of our crew.

In total, 30 bouldering routes will be set up for the event, along with the usual routes on the gym’s walls.
To avoid congestion, the competition routes will be spread across all walls.

Important note: As you know, Petite Île prefers liquid chalk over powder, as it keeps the air clearer. We highly encourage you to bring liquid chalk, but if you use powder, please keep it in the designated buckets and limit its spread.

We can’t wait to see you there, motivated and ready to give it your all!

7 YEARS OF PETITE ILE!

We're delighted to invite you to celebrate Petite Île's 7th birthday on Saturday, November 29th!

WHAT'S HAPPENING:

16H-20H - The afternoon kicks off with a competition, featuring three prizes each for women and men.

This marks the inaugural event of the Brussels Boulder Battle (BBB) series but you can participate in the competition without subscribing to the BBB.

When you register at the counter, you'll receive a tombola ticket for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

21H - Announcement of competition winners and draw of the tombola, followed by a spectacular performance from - Olga Kalasnikova. We encourage you to check out her profile and give her a follow.

22H - The evening continues with sets from DJs & , culminating in a live electronic music performance by Los Galacticos.

The party wraps up at 2h, though we promise to wear you out well before then.

For the occasion of the open days at City Gate...

For who doesn't know it the complex of buildings of Petite Ile is called CityGate. It hosts artists and creators of the widest variety!

The entry price for the entire weekend of the 4 and 5 october is going to be 5 euros only, climbing shoes included!

Petite Ile is a very nice community and so two of our climbers are participating to this weekend to make it special:

- For the whole weekend , coffee makers based in Brussels (10km from Petite Ile) will offer a supreme filter coffee. Yes, for free.

- On Sunday 05.10 from 10h00, for the daring ones, will do a session of flash tattoos for a price to agree with him on the basis of the size. He is especially creating designs about climbing. We'll show you some ideas on Petite Ile stories on Insta. The reservations are taken on the spot, first come, first served.

Many more events will happen throughout the weekend in the building of Petite Ile!

POLE DANCE INTRODUCTION

Petite Ile discovered in its community an interest in pole dancing. Since one year now we are trying to adapt our space and offer.

This is a 3 sessions workshop to discover pole dance in an inclusive and attentive environment.

It is meant for beginners but the instructor can adapt quickly the offer to your level.

Of course, anyone is welcome. If ever you were curious about this sport, regardless of your gender and body shape, don't hesitate, subscribe or contact us for more info.

When: Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

TOOLBLOX – ADVANCED COURSE

10 courses and 2 instructors for a personalized technical and mental coaching for intermediate to advanced climbers.

This course will start with an assessment of strengths and weaknesses and will develop a path for each participants to improve their body awareness and advanced technique.

This course has the unique ambition to search and apply the tools that are the best for your specific learning progress. And if you think that what goes on in your head in terms of ideas and emotions is an important - blocking ? - element in your climbing experience then this course is the one for you.


Required level: Black

When: Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, from September 18th to November 27th, 2025 for 10 sessions

Price: €150 (entry and climbing shoes not included)

BEGINNER COURSE

This course is a real booster in technical knowledge and physical preparation.
A groupe of 6 people and one instructor.

This course is for climbers with a bit of experience in bouldering who know the safety basics.

The instructor will adapt the programme to the levels of the participants, tackling technique, mobility, balance and coordination, commitment and fear of falling.

Required level: Orange

When: Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, from September 16th to November 25th, 2025 for 10 sessions

Price: €135 (entry and climbing shoes not included)

DISCOVERY SESSION

This course aims at welcoming new climbers and customers of Petite Ile with a unique formula: 10 euros for a course of 1h30 introducing to safety and technique in bouldering.

Ideal for beginners who want to discover climbing in a safe environment.

Share this experience with friends who want to start climbing but are still hesitant.

Required level: beginner - zero experience needed.

When: Bi-weekly on Mondays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
