1️⃣ In Cannes 🇫🇷, Abdel Saïd and Zasou vom Claashof won the Grand Prix of the second Champions Tour after a thrilling four-way jump-off! 🐎

2️⃣ Jana Van Lent smashed the Belgian 10,000m record in Louvain-la-Neuve with a time of 30:51.18. It's 12 seconds faster than the previous mark, which had stood for 26 years! 🏃‍♀️

3️⃣ The Yellow Tigers wrapped up their first Nations League tournament with two victories against 🇹🇭 and 🇷🇸. A promising start to the competition! 🏐

4️⃣ Jolien Vermeylen is still at the top of her game! She won the Supertri Women’s Pro Series at Blenheim Palace 🇬🇧. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

5️⃣ The Yellow Arrows put on a show in Istanbul 🇹🇷! They return home with the team silver medal. 🎯

A great weekend once again for Belgian athletes! Here’s the recap ⤵️

1️⃣ Aaron Andries and Tibo Vyvey were on fire in Seville 🇪🇸! They claimed silver at the opening World Cup event of the season thanks to a crazy final 500 meters! 🚣‍♀️

2️⃣ Tristan Vandenbussche followed their lead by taking bronze, also in Seville 🇪🇸. A perfect start to the season for the Belgian rowing team! 🚣‍♀️

3️⃣ She traded the ice for a bike — and what a decision that was! This weekend, Sandrine Tas won two stages and the best sprinter’s jersey at the Bretagne Ladies Tour 🇫🇷! 🚴‍♀️

4️⃣ He wanted to win the belt on home soil, and he did it! Ryad Merhy is now Bridgerweight World Champion after a points decision victory. 🥊

A very hot weekend for Belgium 🇧🇪☀️ Here’s the recap ⤵️

1️⃣ Emma Plasschaert back on the European podium! She wins bronze in Kostela 🇭🇷, her second European Championship bronze medal after her first one in 2018 in La Rochelle! ⛵

2️⃣ Hannes Van Duysen reaches new heights! At the Swiss World Cup stage in Bern 🇨🇭, he takes the bronze medal — a superb start to the season! 🧗‍♀️

3️⃣ Justin Verboomen strikes again! He wins the 4* Dressage Grand Prix in Lier 🇧🇪. Congrats as well to Larissa Pauluis for 2nd place, and to Wim Verwimp for winning the Grand Prix Special. Special mention too for the Belgian team, winners of the nations ranking! 🐎

It has been a (Belgian) record-breaking weekend. Here’s the recap ⤵️

1️⃣ Noah De Schryver set a new Belgian record in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:10.15 at the Belgian Championships in Antwerp (🇧🇪), securing qualification for the European Championships in Paris. 🏊‍♂️

2️⃣ Florine Gaspard broke the Belgian record twice in the 50m breaststroke, clocking 30.26 at the Belgian Championships in Antwerp (🇧🇪). A new record set. 🏊‍♀️

3️⃣ In just six months, Jana Van Lent has broken three Belgian records — over 5km and 10km on the road, and now the 3,000m in Kessel-Lo (🇧🇪), breaking a 26-year-old national record. 🏃‍♀️
