STJ’s got momentum and it’s not slowing down. 🎾 is growing, and the culture is starting to feel real.

I love this photo for so many reasons. STJ has a proud tradition of supporting its teams, but what stands out most is our community. Parents and students showed up as a true sixth man for our Varsity team. That’s when culture stops being something you talk about, and becomes something you live. STJ 💚🤍

The boys secured a win against the defending champions, while the girls clinched victory with a jump shot in double overtime. 🏀🔥 .johns_international_school 🦁

Last day before the break.

The halls are quiet. The students have already left for the holidays. I’m in my office packing up, getting ready to step away for a week.

Before I leave, I glance down at the gym floor.

There’s one player still there and he’s one of our U16s.

His talent is unquestionable.
His passion? Even greater.

But what stands out most isn’t either of those things.

It’s this: he’s putting in the work when no one is watching.

No crowd.
No coaches directing him.
No applause.

Just effort.

He’s training behind the scenes so that when the lights are on and the ball is tipped, he’s prepared to rise above the rest.

Moments like this are powerful reminders of what growth really looks like. It’s built in the quiet. It’s shaped in the unseen hours.

I’m proud to see him elevating his game. More than that, I hope this journey helps him discover how far his discipline, resilience, and self-belief can take him both in sport and in life.

.johns_international_school swim meet was a success. Swimmers swam. Parents stepped up and volunteered. Coaches coached. Competitive experience for everyone involved. When a kid finishes their race and there’s a sense of pride, relief, and belief - it is all worth it in the end. 🏊 🦁

At our annual swim meet, I tried to capture the crowd behind the viewing area, to show them they were seen. Turns out I caught more of me in the reflection 🤦‍♂️ But I promise, there were spectators 😄 🦁 .johns_international_school
