Beyoncé isn't specifically vocal about LGBTQ+ rights. And yet, the obsession is real. You know it, we know it.

So what is it?

We think it's this: in a world that has spent centuries telling female energy to shrink, soften, apologize, Beyoncé walks in and sets the whole room on fire. She is gentle and devastating. Sexy and seismic. Soft and she will shake the earth if you test her.

As a black woman in a white man's world, she moves like the answer to a question nobody dared ask out loud.

And for a lot of q***r people? That hits different. Because underneath the gender expectations we were handed, so many of us just want to be that; unapologetic, fierce, fully ourselves. She shows us what that looks like when you refuse to dim it down.

Maybe that's the itch she scratches. The version of yourself you're still growing into.

First of all — thank you, Boris. Really.

As a younger q***r person, it's easy to take what we have for granted. The rights, the visibility, the spaces like this one. We inherited them without always knowing the full story of how we got here.

But with hate speech rising and tensions growing around us, that story matters more than ever.

It wasn't always like this. People fought hard — and not that long ago — for the things we sometimes forget to notice. That's worth sitting with.
So yes, be grateful. But also stay sharp. Because rights aren't permanent, and silence has never protected anyone.

Don't let hate and taboo dictate your life. That's what we're here for. 🖤

Wasseem knows what it means to navigate the world as a q***r person of color. Growing up Palestinian, those layers are real — and in a western world, they don't go unnoticed.

We don't look away from that. We think it's worth saying out loud.
Because when you live your truth fully — all of it — something shifts. Not just for you, but for everyone watching who needed to see it was possible.

That's what Wasseem does, every single day he shows up here. He sets an example without trying to — and honestly, for that, we're just really grateful. 🖤
