Lesoma FC failed to turn up for the scheduled fixture.

Lesoma FC abandoned the match in the second half after having fewer than the required number of players to continue.

CHOBE IS READY TO HOST! 🏟️

Chobe Regional Football Association is pleased to officially announce the dates for the 2026 First Division North Promotional Playoffs.

📆KEY DATES:

1. Team Arrivals:All participating teams must report to Kasane on or before Wednesday 3rd June 2026

2. Commencement of Games: Thursday, 4th June 2026

3. Final Day of Play: Sunday, 7th June 2026

NB:Further communication regarding fixtures, kick-off times, match venues, and other logistical items shall be availed in due course.

Tutume Rangers Football Clublub sit 3rd with 47 points but have 3 games in hand. Those games can take them level on points with Mosetse — if Mosetse drops points in their final match

THE EQUATION:

Mosetse control their destiny. A draw or win = Champions + Ticket to Chobe.

of the following:

RE: ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

All annual subscriptions must be paid on or before 31 MAY 2026.

Affiliates are further urged to take note of BFA Circular No. 17 of 2026, particularly the implementation dates of the revised fees All members are advised to ensure full compliance with the requirements of both circulars.

Non-compliance may affect your club’s eligibility for the 2026/27 season.

Chobe Regional Football Association wishes to inform all members that the Botswana Football Association has revised subscription, transfer, and player registration fees.

Please find BFA Circular No. 17 of 2026 attached to this post for your reference.

KEY CHANGES AFFECTING OUR REGION:

1. AFFILIATION FEES ⤵️

1.1 Existing Clubs to Region: BWP250 ➡️ BWP500

1.2 New Club Affiliation: BWP5,000 ➡️ BWP8,000

2. PLAYER REGISTRATION ⤵️

2.1 Regional Clubs (Division I & II): BWP100 ➡️ BWP200 per player

2.2 National First Division Teams: BWP200 ➡️ BWP300 per player

3. TRANSFER FEES ⤵️

3.1 Amateur to Amateur – Players U21: BWP2,500 ➡️ BWP3,000

3.2 Amateur to Amateur – Players 21+: BWP2,500 ➡️ *BWP1,500

4. PROTEST FEE ⤵️
Regional Clubs: BWP2,500 ➡️ BWP1,000

Effective Date: 01 June 2026

All clubs are advised to familiarize themselves with the attached circular and budget accordingly for the 2026/27 season.
