WELCOME SPEECH AND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM THE CHAIRPERSON - MRS TINY SELOKA
Good day, ladies and gentlemen, the management, coaching staff, players, supporters, and all invited guests.
It is a great honour and privilege for me, as the Chairperson of this football team, to welcome you all here today.
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who has taken the time to be part of this occasion. Your presence demonstrates your love, commitment, and support for our team.
To our players, I want you to know that you are an important part of this team. You are not just football players; you are ambassadors of our club, our community, and our supporters. We believe in your talent, your potential, and your ability to achieve great things.
My message to you as your Chairperson is simple: let us build a team that is united, disciplined, committed, and determined to succeed.
Football is not only about winning trophies or scoring goals. It is also about teamwork, respect, discipline, and the willingness to sacrifice for one another. A strong team is built when players understand that no individual is bigger than the team.
I therefore encourage every player to respect the coaches, listen to instructions, attend training sessions, and give their best in every match. Remember that success does not come overnight. It requires hard work, patience, consistency, and determination.
There will be difficult moments during the season. We may experience defeats, injuries, disappointments, and challenges. However, these challenges should not divide us. Instead, they should make us stronger and teach us valuable lessons. When we win, let us celebrate with humility. When we lose, let us learn, stand together, and come back stronger.
To the technical team, I encourage you to continue working hard, guiding our players, and developing their abilities. To the management, let us remain committed to providing the necessary support and creating a positive environment for our team to grow.
To our supporters, you are the heartbeat of this club. Your encouragement means a lot to our players, especially during difficult times. I urge you to continue standing behind the team, whether we are winning or losing. Let us work together because a successful football club is built through cooperation between the players, management, technical team, and supporters.
As Chairperson, I want to assure you that we will continue striving for the development and success of this team. I also ask every member to contribute positively, respect one another, and protect the good name of our club.
My dear players, always remember these three things: discipline, teamwork, and commitment. Talent may win you a match, but unity and hard work can help you build a successful team.
Let us play with pride, fight for every ball, respect our opponents, and represent our team with dignity both on and off the pitch.
Once again, I warmly welcome you all. Let us move forward with one vision, one goal, and one spirit. Together, we can overcome challenges, achieve our objectives, and make our team proud.
