I completely forgot to post this after the event, but I wanted to give Zach Contos the recognition he deserves.
Fighters like Zach don’t wait around for easy fights.. This kid keeps chasing the next big opportunity. Not many athletes are willing to consistently step up when a title or a tough challenge is on the line..
Proud of the work he’s put in and the heart he showed competing for the WBF Championship. These experiences build champions, and this is only another step in the journey!

Proud of every single one of our fighters who stepped into Provincials and Sub Novice this weekend!
Everyone walked away better and respect to every athlete who had the courage to test themselves, represent the gym!

This year we took a young squad to Winnipeg for Elite Nationals, and even though we didn’t walk away with the decisions we were chasing, every one of our athletes came home with something just as valuable.. Santa showed up early this year and handed out the gift of experience. The toughest lessons are the ones that shape you the most and when you look at them as opportunities instead of setbacks.. they become blessings in an ugly disguise!
