We are excited to announce that Northern Karate has been nominated for Best Martial Arts School in the Toronto Readers' Choice Awards 2026. Not only that, but Shihan Kim Schraner-Manalo has been nominated for Best Martial Arts Instructor. None of this would be possible without our amazing students and families. Voting is easy, please click on the link below or paste into your address bar. Please remember to vote in both categories, Best Martial Arts and Best Martial Arts Instructor.

We thank you for your continued support.

Polls are open and we want YOUR Votes in the Toronto Readers' Choice.

Wednesday's Grading Night was a good display of what effort and practice looks like. Congratulations to everyone who put on a great performance and showed why they deserved their next rank. Keep moving forward.

Our referral program is always a nice way to say thank you to students who refer their friends or family members to NKS Ajax. We present them with some cool NKS swag, in this case, one of our awesome coolers just in time to pack lunches for back to school. Thank you Elijah for referring your friend Minusha to the NKS Ajax family.
