Everyone, Thor needs your best wishes. He is very sick and fighting for his life. He received procedures (including having fluid drained off his lungs) and medications today from our wonderful vets at Sissiboo Veterinary Services.

He's now home with his foster family, who loves him like their own. This is the place he feels safe and loved. We are hoping he can pull through.

A huge thank you to our volunteers with the Annapolis Royal Lions Club for coming out and keeping us on the course, and working the water station.

Plus they help with registration and handing out the medals. They do it all for us, and we couldn't do it without dedicated volunteers.

A big thank you as well for Annapolis Valleyycreditunion for providing our finish line water stop.

We also had the help of Town of Annapolis Royal recreation team for monitoring the turnaround, and of course the Annapolis Royal Police for keeping us safe out there on the roads.

I can confirm that the Fort on our medal is in fact Fort Anne.

Organizers of the Great North Run have issued an apology following the distribution of thousands of medals to participants that incorrectly displayed a map of Sunderland instead of Newcastle 🤣🤣🤣
