✨ Why do we finish class with FREE DANCE? ✨

At the end of many of our classes, you might hear the words they’ve been waiting for… “It’s free dance time!” 🎶💃

But free dance is more than just a fun way to finish class!

Throughout class, dancers spend time listening, following instructions, learning technique and practicing specific movements. Free dance gives them the opportunity to take everything they’re learning and explore movement in their own way.

🌟 It encourages creativity and imagination
🌟 Builds confidence and independence
🌟 Helps dancers develop their own unique style of movement
🌟 Gives them a chance to experiment with new skills
🌟 Most importantly—it reminds them that dancing is FUN!

Tap isn’t just fun to watch (and even more fun to do!) — it offers so many benefits for growing dancers!

🥁 Builds rhythm & musicality — Dancers learn to hear, understand and create rhythms with their feet.
