Float N’ Flag Dive Centre is a full service 5 Star PADI Instructor Development Centre (IDC) serving Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Kitchener and the Niagara region. We offer many things from courses to gear and the opportunity to meet some new diving buddies. To us, our customers are more than just customers, we are a family: a diving family. All of us at Float N' Flag are passionate
divers, at all levels, and are committed to making your diving experience the best it can be. In other words, we want you to love diving as much as we love diving. To do that, we want you to be comfortable with all your current skills and we want you to continue learning new skills. This is why we offer courses from Discover Scuba to Instructor, and everything in between. We’ve been searching for, and testing, all kinds of new equipment, some of which will greatly enhance your diving experience, both locally and on trips. Whether you’re interested in our regular scuba lessons, the PADI online e-Learning scuba course, private lessons, a women’s only scuba class or just a place to meet other divers, this is the place to be. For teams, clubs, corporations, school or other groups, we can also help you with a unique program to focus participants on areas such as leadership, overcoming obstacles, teamwork and more. We are in the process of adding more courses and educational seminars for this coming year to help keep your training up to date and to facilitate new learning. Whether you want to find out more about dry suit diving or want to hear about re-breathers, Float N’ Flag will try to keep you updated on the latest trends. Our merchandise line-up is a blend of the solid favourites and a selection of the latest innovative products from the industry’s top manufacturers. We are also proud to be Ontario’s only dealer for Reactor Watches. Besides course offerings and quality gear, we also offer servicing, visual inspections and maintenance on a variety of equipment. Bring your gear in and we will let you know what we can do for you. Safety is a top priority for us here at Float N’ Flag, so we want to make sure your gear is properly maintained to keep you safe. With all that gear and training, you really need somewhere to use them, right? So why not join us on one of our annual trips? We take part in trips to tropical locations during the cooler months and stay up here during those warmer months. Each year, Float N’ Flag runs trips to Tobermory and Brockville to see all the amazing wrecks hidden in the deep. But if wrecks aren’t your thing, we also offer trips down south to places such as Bonaire, Curaçao and Wakatobi. Each trip is an opportunity to see incredible wildlife and landscapes and to connect with your fellow divers.

These guys rocked the dives and the town of Tobermory was so impressed with their performance, look what happened.., a gorgeous fireworks display.
Now that these guys know what if feels like to be warm while diving in Toby in June, we’re taking them out on a charter tomorrow to enjoy a couple of fun wreck dives!! Woot woot!

Great day of diving today in Tobermory. Congrats to John N, Igor M and Matt C who completed their drysuit cert dives. The rest of us went out for a couple great season opener dives. Bottom temps were 48 degrees. Had 2 nice 45 minute dives. Thanks to DiveLife Tobermory for all your support!! Great day on the water.

The gang had an awesome fun dive at Gulliver’s tonight. We had over 20 folks in the water, including our 4 Self Reliant Diver students. The water is warming up and it’s a great time for you to hop in, get wet and practice some skills. Why not sign up for your Advanced Open Water diver course or Rescue Course that are both occurring in a couple weeks. These are the best way to up your game and be really ready for the dive season.

Woo hoo! Day one for the FNF IDC Candidates is in the books, and it was nothing short of Incredible. Kat, Shari, Brian and Courtney made us all proud today, conducting themselves like the best in the industry. Totally NEXT LEVEL Instructors. Tomorrow, they will once again do what they excel at and teach more diving, after which we can all formally call them instructors. So just one more “mildly restless” night and their hard work through this IDC will bear the fruit they hoped for… Instructordom!! Go get them you guys. We are already proud of what you’ve accomplished. By yourself and you’ll succeed.

When your job really isn’t work! When you are working with a talented, enthusiastic and fun group of people, it isn’t really work. We spent another fun day at Gullivers lake helping build the industries best scuba instructors. The presentations this morning were nothing short of exceptional, and this afternoon we worked on Rescue Diver skills and how to teach various rescue skills. We also had our almost new instructors lead students on a Discover Scuba Open Water dive. Trust me, that isn’t working, but pure fun. Serious, but fun! The countdown is on. These folks have been working hard since March, and in 2 weeks the get to reap the reward… Instructordom! Wish them luck! Post your good wishes here and I’ll share them with the team.

What a great day of learning! Candidates delivered their 6th Confined Water presentation, and the result was obvious. Great learning and great scores. Then it was back to the shop for exams, and thrilled to announce that everyone has passed that part! Woot woot!! Back in Open Water tomorrow for more presentations, rescue training and a DSD workshop. Too much fun!!
