Girl 💪
In my gym, there’s a powerful rhythm among women who show up not just to train, but to grow—together and individually. They spot each other, celebrate every new personal best, and offer encouragement that feels genuine and earned. At the same time, there’s an unspoken edge of competition, the kind that pushes each person to lift a little heavier, move a little faster, and dig a little deeper. It’s not about tearing anyone down; it’s about rising in parallel, fueled by mutual respect and quiet determination. Everyone has a place here 🤟 every body, every background, every level because the shared goal is progress. And in my gym, camaraderie and competition don’t clash; they sharpen each other, creating an environment where women become stronger not just physically, but collectively. Abs for April Queen Crystal pushes herself to the edge every time she drops into a plank, chasing her personal record with a kind of relentless determination that’s impossible to ignore. Her focus is steady, her breathing controlled, and even when her muscles start to shake, she refuses to quit—she leans into the challenge. That drive doesn’t just stay with her; it spills over into the rest of us, setting a standard we can’t help but rise to. She’s the kind of presence that makes you want to hold on a little longer, push a little harder. A great JHMH gym leader, she leads with both strength and support, demanding excellence while making sure no one feels alone in the struggle.

She walks into any room with quiet authority, the kind that doesn’t need to announce itself to be felt.
She doesn’t tolerate disrespect, excuses, or anyone trying to shrink her presence.
Her strength isn’t loud, but it’s undeniable in the way she carries herself and holds her ground.
When she trains, she does it with intention, not ego, focusing on control over chaos.
Every eccentric push-up she performs is slow, deliberate, and technically precise.
She lowers herself with complete command, resisting gravity instead of giving in to it.
That discipline reflects her mindset—she doesn’t rush, and she doesn’t fold under pressure.
People notice that she doesn’t just go through motions; she masters them.
Her power comes from consistency, boundaries, and refusing to accept anything less than her standard.
And when she pushes herself, it’s never reckless—it’s calculated, controlled, and relentless. I love coaching Helpful Advice to others wanting to move like Christina - To get stronger at eccentric push-ups, start by slowing your descent as much as possible while maintaining perfect form. If a full push-up is too difficult, perform eccentric-only reps: lower yourself slowly, then reset from your knees or stand back up instead of pushing up.

💜Autism is something we’re still learning about, and our journey with it is just beginning. Even though we don’t have all the answers yet about our son, we are opening our hearts to understanding and awareness. Every child experiences the world in their own unique way, and that deserves to be respected and celebrated. Children with autism often see beauty, patterns, and details that others might miss. They remind us to slow down, listen differently, and connect in new ways. As parents, we are learning to embrace uncertainty with love and patience. We stand in support of families who navigate autism every day with strength and compassion. Today, we celebrate the incredible uniqueness and resilience of children on the autism spectrum. We choose kindness, acceptance, and curiosity over fear of the unknown. No matter what the future holds, we will always celebrate our child for exactly who he is.
