I have two horses, this is my riding journey.
I also built an app for horsey people looking to improve their riding and horse welfare knowledge.
Goddamit I only have 2 horses 😢 great audio by Devin Dole (Conley) who is extremely funny. 5 things worth the money for me besides the horses - good boarding with turnout and people who I trust to look after them, good feed, properly fitted tack, a good coach, last but definitely not least is a good farrier.
I would like to share he fell asleep BEFORE we even went to the showjumping ring and this was after he’d been inside all night and had a healthy dose of electrolytes
So so proud of this achievement of getting through our first full day event which included dressage, show jumping and cross country. 4th in the division out of 8 riders and so proud of the improvement mostly with the show jumping as that is our weakest event out of the 3.

Princeton and I went eventing for the second time. Since the first time out a month ago we got eliminated for refusals in the showjumping my only goal was to get around the stadium without getting eliminated, a goal that was realized and exceeded when we got 4th place! I was very proud of our effort and ‘practice makes progress’ since we studied hard for this one and took all the learnings from last time and applied them. I can truly say we’re a much better team for having had the setback and that we came out today much more confident and comfortable with the course and dressage test. The cross county was awesome and we just went out and had fun. Can’t wait for the next time!
