And to end off the 2025-2026 season, we have our 2026 Square Draw league winners who finished up Friday night.

Our A event final game was the Donald Brian rink against the Chub Hogarth rink in an extremely close game, with Donald Brian coming out with the win for the 3rd season in a row! Congrats to Donald Brian, DJ Cairns, Becky Brian and Kristi McKinnon.

Our B event final game was the Cremona School Seniors Boy team against the Darren Taylor rink. Darren Taylor tried but he could not beat those school boys. Congrats to Cremona School Boys Team (Cooper Scott, Jarett Scott, Justin Rathwell and Wacey Scott) - you guys had an amazing season and we love seeing you young guys out there keeping this amazing sport alive! Keep up the good work!

Our Ladies League wrapped up last week and For the 2nd season in a row Deana Jensen was able to take her team to the top. Although the teams look different every year, our skips remain steady. Congratulations to Deana Jensen, Crystal Newsome, Leslie Abrams and Dianne Beamish on winning the Ladies League title for the 2025-2026 season!

The ice was busy last week as 12 teams competed in our annual Ladies Bonspiel, finishing up Saturday night with three event-winning teams taking home the bragging rights! 🥌 🥌 🥇 🥈 🥉

Another year, another win for some Cremona locals at the Sundre Oilmen’s this past weekend—turns out talent travels well down the road to Sundre. Congrats to our winners!

Hi friends! The Cremona Community Curling Club is holding a Ladies Bonspiel on March 1-8th and we are needing more teams to make this bonspiel a go! It’s a fun time with great food (including desserts). No daytime curling except on the weekend! Entry fees are $200 per team with a banquet March 6th. Deadline to register is Saturday February 21.

Our 2026 Seniors Bonspiel wrapped up today after featuring 3 days of some fierce competition on the ice and even fiercer battles at the snack table (rumor has it the butter tarts never stood a chance). There were precision shots, dramatic sweeps, and at least one rock that went completely rogue like it had its own retirement agenda. Off the ice, the coffee flowed, the stories got longer with every telling, and someone definitely claimed they “meant to do that” after a lucky ricochet. Huge congratulations to this year’s winners — and equal congratulations to everyone who survived three days of extreme sweeping and sore knees! 🥌

Our 2026 Town & Country Bonspiel wrapped up last night after some incredibly close final games. Thank you to everyone who supported our curling club by entering the bonspiel, buying food and drinks, and cheering from the sidelines. It’s always wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces.
