📣 2026–2027 memberships are now available!

To remain a club in good standing with the Alberta Snowmobile Association, we require a minimum of 15 memberships. If you’re planning to renew or join, we would greatly appreciate memberships being purchased before July 1st. This is also beneficial if you plan on doing summer maintenance with us or a neighboring club 😁

Trails Act – Building a sustainable trail network for everyone

Since February 2022, the Trails Act and amendments to the Public Lands Act have created a clearer, stronger system for managing recreation on public land.

What does that mean for Albertans?

This allows Alberta to establish designated and provincial trails, enabling the province to:

✔️ protect recreation infrastructure.
✔️ support sustainable trail use.
✔️ enhance your trail experience.
✔️ reduce conflict between users.
✔️ enable enforcement for inappropriate trail use.

This is important for everyone’s experience—whether you’re hiking, biking, riding, or exploring with family and friends. For example, clearly designated trails help ensure that a popular hiking route isn’t damaged by unintended motorized use, reducing wear and tear, minimizing user conflicts, and keeping the trail enjoyable and safe for years to come.
