A new generation of ringette superstars were introduced to the “Friends First” red laces this weekend at the annual AS/U10 Friendship Tournament. 😍 This is one more reason why the ringette community is the BEST!

The red lace Friends First campaign was launched many years ago with the instrumental work of Hazel Skinner, a long time ringette volunteer in our city. Hazel passed in 2021 at the age of 92, but her legacy continues. Hands up if you grew up with a red lace to show we are all part of one community even while striving through competition. 🙌🙌
