After a few days of heavy rain and cold (even some snow 🥴) here in Canmore, the sun and blue skies are starting to come out, the course is drying up, the turf crew is hard at work getting the course back in order and it's shaping up to be a great rest of the week! 🌤🌈

On this day, 100 years ago, on June 1, 1926, the Canmore Golf & Curling Club was born.

Today, we celebrate a century of unforgettable rounds of golf and games of curling, lifelong friendships, cherished traditions, and sooooo many memories made on the fairways and in the curling rink. For 100 years, our club has been more than just a place to play golf and curling—it has been a gathering place for generations of members, guests, and our community. ⛳🥌

As we honor the past 100 years, we also look ahead with gratitude and excitement for the future. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our story and helped shape the legacy of this special place.

Here's to a century of excellence—and the next 100 years to come!🥂

Our Superintendent, Reid, snapped this awesome photo of a fluffy visitor out on the course last night that could BEAR-ly contain its excitement for the 100th season at the club!

The first group to tee off for the 2026 season and a couple of other golfers stoked for opening day! 😁

This morning we unveiled the brand new Verdin clock that was installed on the grounds at the Pro Shop to commemorate our 100th season at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. 🎉

COURSE UPDATE!

The turf crew have been working hard to get the course in tip-top shape for the upcoming season! ⛳

There is still quite a bit of snow on the course but winter tarps are starting to come off and spring tarps are going on, yippee! 🎉

We still don't have a set opening day as it is all weather dependent but more updates will come once we know more! 😄
