I'm not in Fredericton, but I'll post scores here in the comments as I hear them. Royals are leading 4-1 after the 2nd. No Game Changer either, same reason.

Since playing as an 18 year old in the Islanders 2010 season, Brody McDonald had proven he had all the tools to become a star in the New Brunswick Senior League. In 2016, McDonald took his game to the next level.

Playing behind a very strong Islanders team that would go on to win its first NBSBL pennant, McDonald would put together a season to remember as he would capture MVP honours while also pitching lights out at the Canadian Senior Men's Nationals, which were hosted in Fredericton, NB.

After taking some time away from the game between 2018-2022, McDonald has returned to form on the mound for the Islanders since coming back in 2023 even though his home run hitting days may be behind him.

Since the NBSBL was cancelled (Chatham Miramichi Honda Ironmen vs. Moncton Metropolitans) due to weather today, it was a good day to update the website and Game Day Program. New Roster pictures, new stats, new Sponsors and new graphics all added this week
