🦅 U17 PROGRAM UPDATE
We’re excited to share an update regarding the U17 program for the upcoming season!
After careful consideration, the decision has been made for our U17 team to compete at the Select level rather than PWSA for the 2027 season.
This will provide our players with a great opportunity to continue developing their skills, competing, and growing together while representing the Chatham Golden Eagles. 💙💛

🥎U17 TRAINING SESSION
We will be hosting a U17 training session during the week of September 14–18 for interested players.

Calling all 2016/2017 athletes!

Put on your Golden Eagles gear and head to the diamond to watch some great college-level ball and take part in some great giveaways throughout the afternoon! 🥎🦅

Mark your calendars. Minor Softball Day is back!

Join us on Sunday, September 13th for a day filled with OCAA Softball at Tecumseh Park! The Lambton Women's Softball Program will be in action for the first time at home this season as they host a four-team pod with four games throughout the day, two of which feature the Lions.

The day's schedule is as follows:

11:00 a.m.: Lambton vs. Durham
1:00 p.m.: Fanshawe vs. Sheridan
3:00 p.m.: Durham vs. Fanshawe
5:00 p.m.: Lambton vs. Sheridan

Minor softball players are encouraged to wear their team gear to the diamond, and we'll have some giveaways planned throughout the afternoon.

HONOURING A LEGACY: COACH TIM NORTH 💛💙

This evening, the Chatham Girls Minor Softball Association had the incredible privilege of honouring a man who has given so much of himself to the game we all love.

Coach Tim North has been more than a coach. He has been a mentor, a teacher, a role model, a teammate, a friend — and a constant presence in the softball community.

Tonight, generations of players, fellow coaches, friends and family gathered together to celebrate Tim and the lasting impact he has made on countless young athletes and on our association as a whole.

As a lasting tribute to his incredible commitment, dedication and love for the game, the association proudly unveiled a bench in Coach Tim’s honour. A place where future generations can sit, watch, cheer, reflect — and perhaps even be inspired by the legacy of someone who has spent a lifetime giving back to the game.

The Chatham Girls Minor Softball Association is also incredibly proud to announce that our annual scholarship bursary has officially been renamed the:
🥎 Tim North: For the Love of the Game Bursary 🥎
A fitting tribute to a coach whose impact has always been about so much more than wins and losses. It’s about the love of the game, the friendships it creates, the lessons it teaches and the lives it touches along the way.

Tim, thank you.

Thank you for the countless hours, the practices, the games, the lessons, the encouragement, the laughs and, most importantly, for believing in generations of girls who stepped onto the diamond.

Your legacy is woven into the fabric of our association — and it will continue for generations to come.

Please join us in congratulating Coach Tim North on this incredibly well-deserved honour.
