YMCA Summer Day Camp 2026 has officially come to an end!

We hope our campers had an unforgettable summer filled with new friendships, exciting adventures, skill-building opportunities, and plenty of fun along the way.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated Day Camp Counsellors, 1:1 Inclusion Staff, and our amazing Camp Leadership Team. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment made this summer a success. From the long, hot days and endless camp songs to the excitement of Big Days and the positive example you set for our campers, your impact has been truly meaningful.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do to create a safe, welcoming, and memorable camp experience for every child.

This course is for babysitters who would like to pick up some helpful hints on accident prevention, child behaviour, home safety, emergency procedures and creative children's activities. The program is a recognized course of the Canadian Red Cross Society. Students will receive a manual and certificate upon successful completion of the program and exam.
Saturday October 17, 2026 from 9am-3pm. $50 per participant. Register online or at the branch.

This YMCA program teaches youth ages 9 to 13 valuable safety skills, including how to handle emergencies, make smart decisions, and stay safe when home alone. Join us on Saturday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chatham Branch. Registration fee: $40 per participant. Register online or at the Chatham Branch today!

Youth ages 12 to 17 are invited to drop in each week from 6:00 to 7:00 PM between September 25 and December 11, 2026. Whether you enjoy strategy games, card games, classic board games, or want to bring a favourite game to share, Game Night is a great opportunity to connect with friends, meet new people, and try something new in a welcoming environment. No registration is required, just drop in and join the fun!
