🚨Hole in One Announcement🚨
Looks like the hole in ones are starting to come in bunches and Hole #2 was the hole today for it. After an earlier Hole in One by Barry Porter. Another Hole in One happened shortly after. This time by Maj Kaddoura (). This is Maj’s second career hole in one.
Here are the details:
Hole #: 2
Club Used: 9 iron
Yardage: 164 yards
Tees: Blue
Playing with: Malik Kaddoura (his brother), Hasan Akl, and Ziad Kalaf
According to Google the odds of two people getting a hole in one on the same hole on the same day is 17 million to 1. The crazy part is this happened a few years ago on Hole #6 when none other than Barry Porter and Trevor Wood accomplished the same feat. Wild stuff! 🤯

The faces behind the scenes!
Quaid (Quaid), Matt (Assistant Superintendent) and Derek (Assistant Superintendent), the people behind the overall maintenance and agronomy of the course. Together they oversee turf management, irrigation systems, landscaping, equipment use and maintenance crew supervision to ensure the course is safe, healthy and ready for play.

As the school/exam season ends for our juniors, we will start to see them get a lot busier with their competitive golf schedules. The past two weekends saw three juniors compete and play well in windy and wet conditions. Congrats to all juniors who continue to show up and compete and represent Lakeside at a high level. We love to see it!
Congrats to on his 3rd place finish in Stony Plain and to for his 13th place finish in some real tough wet conditions.
Congrats to for bouncing back and placing 5th with a second round 76 at the in Humboldt, SK.
Look forward to the next events for these three and so many more juniors!!
