Inscription 2027 – Informations générales

English – À LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT. Capitaines, il est temps de vous préparer à inscrire votre équipe au Challenge printanier 2027. Inscrivez la date du samedi 4 juillet 2026 à 9h00 à votre agenda. Le lien du formulaire d’inscription sera disponible sur la page d’accueil du site Internet du Challenge printanier. Il y aura un formulaire pour les 20 équipes du départ régional et un formulaire pour les 60 équipes de l’extérieur.

Vous pouvez demander à un membre de votre équipe de remplir et envoyer le formulaire à votre place si vous n’êtes pas disponible.

Vous aurez à fournir les détails suivants :

Nom de l’équipe
Prénom et nom du capitaine
Numéro de téléphone du capitaine
Adresse courriel du capitaine
Adresse complète du domicile du capitaine
Premier, deuxième et troisième choix de l’heure du départ de la Ronde 1 (pour les équipes de l’extérieur)
Prénom et nom des coéquipiers (si connus)
Choix des pots d’équipe

Pour les équipes de l’extérieur, la recette restera la même : Vous devrez indiquer vos préférences d’heure de départ pour la Ronde 1 du 23 avril (9h00, 14h15, 19h30). Je compilerai les résultats selon l’ordre d’arrivée de chaque formulaire. Il est donc possible que votre premier choix ne puisse être respecté.

Vous aurez jusqu’au 18 juillet 2027 à 23h59 pour remplir et envoyer votre formulaire. Si vous n’avez pas rempli et envoyé votre formulaire avant ce délai, vous perdrez votre place et je communiquerai avec la prochaine personne sur la liste d’attente.

Vous recevrez un courriel une fois que votre formulaire aura été traité. Veuillez prévoir un délai.

Quant au paiement, il devra être fait au plus t**d le 31 août 2026 à 23h59. Un montant minimal de 560$ est exigé. Si vous n’avez pas payé votre inscription avant ce délai, vous perdrez votre place et je communiquerai avec la prochaine personne sur la liste d’attente.

Il est recommandé de payer les pots d’équipe (200$) dès votre inscription si vous êtes en mesure de le faire afin de soulager ma tâche durant la saison. Si vous ne vous souvenez plus de ce que sont les pots d’équipe, cliquez ici.

Notez que la 5e édition du Challenge printanier se tiendra les 17-23-24-25 avril 2027 à la Coopérative Le Dallo de Chicoutimi.

READ CAREFULLY. Captains, it’s time to get ready to register your team for the 2027 Challenge printanier. Mark Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM on your calendar. The link of the registration will be available on the Challenge printanier website’s homepage. There will be one form for the 20 regional teams and one form for the 60 other teams.

You can ask a team member to fill out and submit the form on your behalf if you are not available.

You will need to provide the following details:

Team name
Captain’s first and last name
Captain’s phone number
Captain’s email address
Captain’s full home address
First, second, and third choice for the shift of Round 1 (for the 60 other teams)
First and last name of teammates (if known)
Team pot games selection

For the 60 other teams, the process will stay the same: You’ll need to indicate your preferred start times for Round 1 on April 23 (9:00 AM, 2:15 PM, 7:30 PM). I’ll compile the results in the order that the forms are received, so it’s possible that your first choice might not be available.

You will have until July 18, 2027, at 11:59 PM to fill out and submit your form. If you haven’t filled out and sent your form by this deadline, you will lose your spot and I will contact the next person on the waiting list.

You will receive an email once your form has been processed. Please allow some time for this.

As for the payment, it must be made no later than August 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM. A minimum amount of $560 is required. If you haven’t paid your registration by this deadline, you will lose your spot and I will contact the next person on the waiting list.

It is recommended to pay the team pot games ($200) as soon as you register if you are able to, to help ease my workload during the season. If you don’t remember what the team pot games are, click here.

Note that the 5th edition of the Challenge printanier will take place on April 17, 23, 24, and 25, 2027, at the Coopérative Le Dallo in Chicoutimi.

Trophée – Division A

English – Un tournoi aussi prestigieux que le Challenge printanier méritait un trophée plus-que-parfait. C’est exactement ce qu’Alexandre Fortin réussit à faire de ses propres mains sous le regard admiratif de sa conjointe, Natacha, et de son complice, Kevin. Il est tellement parfait et l’histoire qui s’y rattache est tellement inspirante que j’ai pris la décision d’introniser Alexandre au Panthéon du Challenge printanier, car il marque un pan dans l’histoire du tournoi. À tout seigneur, tout honneur!

A tournament as prestigious as the Challenge printanier deserved a more-than-perfect trophy. That’s exactly what Alexandre Fortin managed to create with his own hands, under the admiring eyes of his love, Natacha, and his partner in crime, Kevin. It’s so perfect, and the story behind it is so inspiring that I decided to induct Alexandre into the Challenge printanier Hall of Fame, because his trophy marks an important chapter in the tournament’s history. Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s.

Bourses Peintre Extra Inc. 2026

English – Afin de mettre en valeur le talent des quilleurs âgés de 50 ans et plus, l’entreprise Peintre Extra Inc. a remis une bourse de 100$ au meilleur joueur de chacune des quatre division (montant total de 400$). Ce fut la première année qu’un tel prix fut remis et nous espérons pouvoir poursuivre la tradition en 2027.

Veuillez noter que les parties jouées lors de la ronde finale ne sont pas comptabilisées.

English – C’est maintenant un classique : Lors du départ régional, nous offrons un prix à la meilleure des 20 équipes afin d’ajouter un peu de piquant à cette première journée de compétition. Cette année, Les Avengers ont remporté les 200$ en cartes-cadeaux du populaire restaurant La Bonne Patate de Chicoutimi. Jean-François Audet, Keven Nadeau-Hébert, Éric Gagnon et Jean-Michel Audet ont joué un pointage de 3369, ce qui les plaça au 6e rang du classement général. Espérant que vous vous êtes délectés de la fameuse poutine « Rouge Burger Bar Boeuf »!!

It’s now a classic: During the regional shift, we offer a prize to the best of the 20 teams. This adds a little extra challenge to this first day of competition. This year, Les Avengers won the $200 in gift cards from the popular La Bonne Patate restaurant in Chicoutimi. Jean-François Audet, Keven Nadeau-Hébert, Éric Gagnon and Jean-Michel Audet shot 3369, placing them 6th in the overall ranking. Hope you enjoyed the famous ‘Rouge Burger Bar Beef’ poutine!!

English – Anthony Caron (à droite) se souviendra certainement de son baptême au Challenge printanier. Au-delà de gagner la Division D, il le fit avec son père, Olivier Caron (à gauche). Gageons que papa gardera aussi un excellent souvenir de cette édition 2026. Pour l’occasion, l’équipe Here for the Beer fut complétée de Rayden Lefrançois et Alexandre Gagnon. Et, en passant, on me confirme à l’oreille que, malgré le nom « 18 ans et plus » de l’équipe, le jeunot s’est tenu loin du houblon!

La Division D fut une présentation de QubicaAMF.

Anthony Caron (on the right) will certainly remember his first time at the Challenge printanier. Beyond winning the Division D, he did it with his father, Olivier Caron (on the left). Let’s bet that Dad will also keep a great memory of this 2026 edition. Here for the Beer‘s roster was completed by Rayden Lefrançois and Alexandre Gagnon. And, by the way, I was told that, despite their “18 and over” team name, the kiddo stayed away from the hops!

Action PMU – Division C

English – Le Challenge printanier fut le théâtre d’une victoire plutôt émotionnelle dans la Division C Storm Products International. L’équipe Action PMU aurait eu toutes les raisons du monde de baisser les bras, mais ce fut tout le contraire. Après une performance en qualification les relayant au départ du dimanche matin, ils prirent le temps de s’ouvrir l’un à l’autre le samedi et ils profitèrent de la journée de repos pour souder leurs liens avec une activité de jeu d’évasion. Le dimanche venu, ils combattirent jusqu’à la toute dernière boule pour accéder à la finale et ils en firent tout autant pour gagner. Comme quoi, dans la vie, avec un bon mental et un désir fort, tout peut arriver. Bourse : 2400$. Fierté : 1 000 000$.

Bravo à Brandon Breton, Jean-Michel Laliberté, Rémi Duponchel et Serge Rioux.

Le trophée, fait d’un composé de ciment unique à la région du Saguenay, fut offert par Pierre Blackburn (quilleur du Dallo). C’est une grosse boule de quilles et… ça prend des muscles pour la soulever!

The Challenge printanier was the scene of a rather emotional victory in the Division C presented by Storm Products International. Team Action PMU would have had every reason to give up, but it was quite the opposite. After a qualifying performance that had them bowl the Sunday morning shift, they took the time to open up to each other on Saturday and they used the rest day to strengthen their bonds with an escape room activity. When Sunday arrived, they fought until the very last ball to reach the final and did the same to win. This goes to show that in life, with a strong mindset and desire, anything can happen. Prize money: $2,400. Pride: $1,000,000.

Congratulations to Brandon Breton, Jean-Michel Laliberté, Rémi Duponchel and Serge Rioux.

The trophy, made from a cement composite unique to the Saguenay region, was offered by Pierre Blackburn (a bowler from La Coopérative Le Dallo). It’s a big bowling ball and… it takes muscles to lift it!
