✨ The first organized women’s lacrosse game was played in Scotland in 1890 after students from St. Leonard’s School were introduced to the game during a visit to Canada.

🏅2028 will be a huge year for girls lacrosse! It will be the first time women’s lacrosse is included in the Olympic Games.

💪Any athlete can play lacrosse. Tall, short, fast, powerful, quick-twitch, endurance-based… there is a position for every type of player on the field.

🎓Scholarship opportunities are available! Lacrosse can open doors to post-secondary opportunities in both Canada and the United States.

🥍 Hawks Summer Camp is back! ☀️

Looking for a fun way to sharpen your skills before the field season starts? Join us August 15–16 for two days of learning, competing, and having a blast with the Hawks!

🔥 Camp Highlights:
• Coed: U7–U13
• Female: U7–U18
• Junior A players will be leading parts of the coed camp, giving players the chance to learn from high-level athletes.
• Our female group will also have an elite junior helper on the field, bringing experience from Team BC Women’s (2024) and the Canada Youth National Team U19 Women’s (2025)

Schedule:
🥍 Coed U7–U9 & Female U7–U15 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
🥍 Coed U11–U13 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

💲 Only $35 per player

Huge shoutout to our 3 amazing mini junior helpers! 🥍💚

Thank you for bringing so much energy and enthusiasm while helping coach our U7/U9 group with Junior A Coaches. You were awesome with the younger Hawks and they loved having you out there 🦅

After spending the morning coaching, you still stuck around to do your own training with the junior coaches. That's a lot of hard work to put into one day and it definitely didn't go unnoticed.

Thanks for being great role models and for giving back to the next generation of Hawks. We really appreciate everything you did out there 👊🏻
