WCKC is saddened to learn of the passing of Gary Quaife, a valued member of the Vancouver Island Karting Association karting family.

Karting is built on more than competition. It is built on volunteers, families, friendships, and people who give their time because they care deeply about the sport and the people around it. Gary was one of those people. His eager dedication on and off the track reflected the commitment and community spirit that make karting so meaningful.

As part of our extended karting family, Gary’s passing is felt beyond his club. His contributions to VIKA and his presence around the track will be remembered by many.

On behalf of everyone at WCKC, we extend our sincere condolences to Gary’s family, friends, and the entire VIKA community during this difficult time.

The cutoff for the early registration draw is today, May 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM, draw tonight at WCKC Club meeting.

Weekend Schedule:
Practice – Friday, May 22, 2026
Race 3 – Saturday, May 23, 2026
Race 4 – Sunday, May 24, 2026

Register before the cutoff for your chance to be entered in the draw. See you at the track!

Less than 2 weeks for the second round of the BC Karting Championship.
