The River Spirit Canoe Club is a family based indigenous team promoting a healthy lifestyle. We are always open to new participants.
Founded in Skwah (Pil'alt) of the Sto:lo territory, the River Spirit Canoe Club is located at the Chilliwack Landing. We travel each weekend during the spring and summer to a different reserve that hosts a canoe race. As east as Seabird Island, to as west as Victoria & Neah Bay, and as south as Seattle, we fundraise all year round to travel to these locations. From young to old, all are welcome to

As usual, open to vendors. Bring your own table, canopy. And please be mindful of parking for the paddlers, guests and other vendors.

🛶Results for the David Williams Memorial Marathon 2024❤️
Thank you to all the participants! Thank you all the supporters that wake up to cheer on our paddlers! What an amazing turn out! 39 participants! Here's a list of times, as well as the shirts for the participants, some with the David Williams Marathon with the logo, some with one of his sayings on the back! We hope you wear them with pride, David believed that wearing red showed your confidence.
Also sorry for the delay! We had technical difficulties, thankfully we wrote down times as well. Got it all sorted. Sadly there are a few blanks spots, we wrote down times but missed the names due to clusters of canoes crossing the line at once and people coming to ask us questions! Lol We will need to put a "timing in progress, do not disturb!" sign up.
***Next year we will work on doing registration for this Marathon, so that we can be more prepared with sizes, as well as extras.
Marathon starts tomorrow at 9am! Rest up & see you in the morning!
