The River Spirit Canoe Club is a family based indigenous team promoting a healthy lifestyle. We are always open to new participants.

Founded in Skwah (Pil'alt) of the Sto:lo territory, the River Spirit Canoe Club is located at the Chilliwack Landing. We travel each weekend during the spring and summer to a different reserve that hosts a canoe race. As east as Seabird Island, to as west as Victoria & Neah Bay, and as south as Seattle, we fundraise all year round to travel to these locations. From young to old, all are welcome to

Here's a throw back. Who remembers Suzanne Rose? These photos are from 1982 at Cultus Lake water festival. The second picture is of late Dean Williams and late Reno James (Williams) who are also sitting bow & second seat on the canoe.
