Flying with foils 🪽
EMIRA IV is a next-generation foiling IMOCA. The foils were fitted when the boat was new in 2022 - some stats you might not know 👀👇
⛵️ Each foil weighs around 150kg, extends 5m from the hull, and covers around 3.3m² surface area
🌊 In the right conditions, the foils can lift the boat completely out of the water for short periods of time
🚀 Top speed 40 knots

Canada → Next chapter 🇨🇦🌊
It's been a busy summer in Collingwood - we're leaving Canada after months of training, learning and miles sailed.
Every session, every sail and every challenge has been in preparation of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe later this year.
Now it’s time to put everything we’ve learned into practice. Thanks for being part of our journey, here's to the next chapter.
