We kick off National Coaches Week with a quote from one of our Storm athletes this past weekend, who said it best,
“I am where I am today because my coaches believed in me from the beginning.” - Ainsley Gouthro
We’ve heard from so many Storm athletes about the impact their coaches have had on their journey - the goals they’ve reached, the opportunities they’ve had and the moments they may not have believed were possible until someone else believed first.
Whether they’ve been in the game since they were little or found ringette later on, our players will be the first to tell you: their coaches have made a difference.
Because there’s something pretty powerful about having a coach who believes in you fiercely. Someone who sees what you could become. Someone who believes there is something more for you. Someone who will put in the time, do the research, make the investment and work to create opportunities for you to get there.
As a young athlete, to know that someone believes in you - and is willing to do everything they can to help you chase your goals is a pretty incredible feeling.
That is what our Storm coaches do. And this week, we’re celebrating them. 💙❤️
Thank you for believing in our athletes, pushing them, challenging them, opening doors for them and, most importantly, believing in them with everything you have.
Happy National Coaches Week to our incredible Storm coaching family.
