Don’t get me wrong , I’ve been part of some really cool community events where I had to interact with people or people were simply super receptive!
At the same time, most of this community events are full of mini groups that stay within themselves and don’t really interact with strangers.
That kills the entire aspect of gathering together in a large group and hopefully create new meaningful connections!
The biggest feedback i hear is that when you do decide to approach these mini groups, they’re staying cold and they’re not welcoming and they’re not genuinely curious about you and do not spark up a conversation.
I hope it hits home and we stop treating strangers in a strange way and we start making more friends 🖤
