Too many young athletes are scared to mess up, and that fear slows development.

Go slow. Find your rhythm. Then push the speed until you’re uncomfortable. Lose the ball. Make mistakes. Reset your limit and keep growing.

You don’t find your limits without pushing them. 🏀

Not everybody is built for this.

The hardest part isn’t the workouts. It’s choosing the long road when shortcuts are everywhere. It’s saying no to comfort, protecting your habits, and staying locked in when nobody would blame you for taking a day off.

Most people won’t make that choice. That’s why most people won’t make it.

This is for the small group that’s obsessed with becoming undeniable.

Savages only. 🐺

Think of your game like a toolbox. Every skill you develop is another tool. Every rep sharpens it. But you’ll never know if it’s truly game-ready until you put it to work in competition.

That’s why you need both. Train to sharpen your tools. Compete to test them.

Train with intention.
Compete with purpose.
Leave no doubt.

Find your people.

The ones who are just as committed to getting better as you are. The ones who hold you accountable when you don’t feel like showing up. The ones who push you to get one more rep, one more shot, one more game speed workout.

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, find people chasing the same goal and lock in together.

Confidence is earned in empty, hot summer gyms with a partner, a rebounder, and thousands of quality reps.

And yes, repping open shots still matters. Every great offense is trying to create an open look. Your teammates spend 24 or 30 seconds working to create that opportunity. If you can’t consistently make the shot they’ve created, you become someone the defense is willing to leave open. Great teams hunt open shots. Great players make defenses pay.

Don’t come to training/practice expecting to get all your shooting reps in. That’s not what training is for. Training should expand your toolbox, improve your decision making, and teach you how to apply your skills in game situations.

Your daily reps are your responsibility.

Leave no doubt.

Sport has the power to shape every young athlete but its impact can be especially life-changing for girls.

The lessons go far beyond wins and losses. Sport teaches discipline, resilience, confidence, accountability, and how to lead when things get tough. It teaches young people how to communicate, work with others, and keep showing up even when they fail.

For girls, those lessons can be even more powerful. Sport gives them a space to find their voice, trust their abilities, and realize they belong in leadership roles—not because someone gave them permission, but because they’ve earned that confidence through hard work.

Every athlete deserves the opportunity to experience what sport can teach. Because we’re not just developing better players we’re developing stronger leaders, better teammates, and more confident young people who will make an impact long after the game is over.
