The Fort McMurray Marathon is our community's largest running event!
This day of fun & fitness includes Full Marathon (42.2km), Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km, 5km, and 3km distances as well as the Kid's Fun Run. The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo humbly acknowledges that the land on which we gather, play and connect is Treaty 8 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree and Dene, and the unceded territory of the Métis.

Missed your chance to register? We are pleased to share waitlists are now available for the 10KM, 21.1KM and 42.2KM race distances!
Interested runners can register for the waitlist by clicking 'Register' on our website https://www.fortmcmurraymarathon.ca/
If a spot becomes available runners will be contacted based on the waitlist order to share information on how to claim their spot. Please note placement on the waitlist does not guarantee registration in the race.
A quick reminder: Race registrations and bibs cannot be transferred, sold or given to another participant.
The official waitlist is the only way to receive an available registration.
