Pretty proud of these three for representing The Peace Country North Stars at The Shield tournament in Toronto, playing for Team Alberta. Jorja, Everleigh and Myer played their hearts out all weekend and helped their team win bronze. All three girls had a game where they earned MVP and Everleigh was even selected for the All Star Team. Way to represent, girls! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A few weekends ago the girls hit the ice for a pre-season practice, followed by apparel try on and a checking clinic. Did you know that the FSL has advanced body contact at the 14u level? After that they hit the streets of Grande Prairie for a scavenger hunt and some team bonding. Safe to say a lot of fun was had!

The Peace Country North Stars would like to thank everyone who attended our inaugural tryouts.
We were extremely excited to see 48 athletes compete and showcase their skill, effort, and passion for the game. The amount of talent throughout the Peace Country and surrounding areas was incredible to watch.
Thank you to all of the players, families, volunteers, evaluators, and supporters who helped make tryouts such a success. The support for female hockey continues to grow, and we are proud to be part of it.
We are very excited for what’s ahead for the North Stars program.
