⚡️ A Heartfelt Thank You to Henderson Electrical Installations ⚡️

The Fall River Minor Football Association would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Henderson Electrical Installations and owners Evan Henderson and Scott Kaiser for their incredible generosity and support of our clubhouse renovation project.

As many in our community know, our clubhouse has undergone a massive transformation over the past two years. What began as a renovation quickly turned into a much larger project as we uncovered numerous challenges throughout the building. One of the most significant was the electrical system, which required a complete rewire and a brand-new electrical panel to bring the building up to modern standards.

This was not a small undertaking.

Evan, Scott and their team stepped forward in a remarkable way, donating substantial labour, materials, expertise and countless hours of work to completely rewire our clubhouse and install a new electrical service panel. Their contribution represents a tremendous investment in our organization and in the youth and families we serve.

Without community-minded businesses like Henderson Electrical Installations, projects of this magnitude simply would not be possible.

Beyond being skilled professionals and successful local business owners, Evan and Scott are the kind of community leaders who quietly make a difference. Their support of local organizations and commitment to giving back is something we are incredibly grateful for.

The impact of this donation extends far beyond electrical wiring. It helps ensure that our clubhouse can continue to serve as a safe, functional gathering place for our players, families, volunteers, community groups and future generations of Dragons.

🏈🔥 WELCOME COACH PHIL MacDONALD TO DRAGON COUNTRY!🏈

The Fall River Dragons Bantam Program is thrilled to officially welcome one of the most respected and accomplished football minds in Nova Scotia — Coach Phil MacDonald!

To say Coach Phil is in demand would be an understatement. With opportunities to coach at multiple levels across the province, we are incredibly fortunate that he has chosen to bring his experience, leadership, and passion to our Bantam program this season.

For Dragons families, Phil needs little introduction.

He is a true Dragon legend.

His son, Ty MacDonald, came through the Fall River Dragons Minor Football and Lockview High School programs before becoming a standout defensive player at Mount Allison University. We have no doubt Dragons fans will see Ty around the field helping out this season as well.

Phil’s own football résumé speaks for itself. A standout defensive player at Mount Allison University, he competed at the highest levels of Canadian university football, including playing in the Vanier Cup.

Since then, he has dedicated himself to developing athletes and growing the game of football throughout Atlantic Canada.

Coach Phil’s philosophy aligns perfectly with what the Dragons are all about:

“My coaching philosophy focuses on teamwork, skill development and shaping young athletes through the fundamentals of football. I believe in a strong team culture that allows for personal growth, with accountability, while engaging athletes to be leaders among themselves, creating a strong team-first attitude.”

More importantly than the accolades, Coach Phil is passionate about helping young athletes become better football players, better teammates, and better people.

Our Bantam players have an incredible opportunity ahead of them. Learning from a coach with Phil’s experience, knowledge, and commitment to athlete development will be invaluable as they continue their football journey.

When young athletes have the opportunity to learn from coaches who have played and coached at the highest levels of the game, it elevates the entire program. Coach Phil brings not only technical football knowledge, but also a proven ability to build character, confidence, accountability, and leadership in young people.

The coaches will also be there for a Parent Information Session to answer questions and share plans for the upcoming season.

It takes a village to build a great football program. Let’s give these boys the school spirit, game-day experience, and support they deserve this year!

The Fall River Dragons are growing, and we’re looking for passionate coaches and coordinators to help shape the next generation of young athletes, from Mites to Bantam.
