Sometimes it feels like all we do is horse show… and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Meet Kayla and Gerry

Did you know that before becoming an equestrian Kayla was a competitive dancer 💃 and her favourite candy (to share with Gerry) is Starburst? 🍬

Gerry is only turning 4 years old and this is her first season ever! She loves jumping all the pretty flowers 🌺 and hates waiting around for her turn.

Together this team is hoping to continue with positive show ring vibes and moving up in the hunter ring!

Total Gusto ("Gus") is a black 2018 KWPN Dutch Warmblood gelding by GLOCK's Total U.S. (Totilas/Sir Donnerhall) out of a Tuschinski mare, carrying the legendary Totilas bloodline.

Total Gusto ("Gus") is a black 2018 KWPN Dutch Warmblood gelding by GLOCK's Total U.S. (Totilas/Sir Donnerhall) out of a Tuschinski mare, carrying the legendary Totilas bloodline. Standing 17.2hh and imported from the Netherlands in 2021, Gus combines world-class breeding with an exceptional temperament that makes him a true barn favorite and a dream partner.

Gus is currently competing successfully at Third Level with an adult amateur rider, with scores in the 60s and is schooling Fourth Level movements at home. He has a successful competition record through the young horse classes in Ontario. Gus offers the quality, rideability, and trainability sought in a developing FEI prospect. His expressive gaits consistently earn scores of 7s and 8s, and his standout canter has been rewarded with a score of 10 in rated competition. He thrives in a professional program and can also be very well suited to an ambitious amateur looking for a talented partner with upper-level potential.

Equally impressive is his character. Gus is uncomplicated and easy to handle in every aspect of management—excellent for the veterinarian and farrier, self-loads on the trailer, stands and ties to be bathed and clipped and travels confidently to busy showgrounds and unfamiliar facilities. He is a joy to have in the barn and can easily be handled by all.

With his combination of proven talent, outstanding rideability, and affectionate puppy-dog personality, Total Gusto is a horse that turns heads both in the ring and in the barn aisle.
