Hello everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of our boarders , clients , Family & Friends who take the time to share our post , tag us and recommend us to others. We see it, hear It and are extremely thankful to have each and everyone of you support us and help us continue to bloom here at h2t.

On that note, we have gained some new friends & followers! So here is a reminder on how things work & operator here at Hot 2 Trot Stables, we are not just a one horse team 😉

Hot 2 Trot Stables is proudly owned & operated by Megan Desjardins.

When you message us you might be directed to call or text Megan directly - meaning you may not be speaking to her but myself (Haley - I don't bite I promise) and you may ask yourself why doesn't she answer her own messages and that's because sometimes she's very busy. I help were I can to allow faster responses & provide required information.
If you call or text Megan and do not hear back right away leave a message and Megan will get back to you when time allows.

Some questions or concerns I (Haley) can answer right away . If you are inquiring for any of the following please add stated details below, this helps better our responses.

- Boarding (Please state S*x, indoor /outdoor, required needs)

- Training (please state s*x : Age : issues : concerns: goals) - You will be directed to call or text Megan directly

- Barrel racing lessons/coaching with Megan (you must OWN a horse : state your location) - You will be directed to call or text Megan directly

- Barrel Bash or any other public events
(You may recive personal messages from ether Haley Richardson (myself) Brittany Veen OR Sheri Day (Sheri helps us in the booth and does all our event computer work , she may contact you looking for insurance : horse name : rider info)

LESSON PROGRAM:
If you are looking for a lesson program!

-Beginner child - Adult
- Equine horsemanship/basic stable needs /basic horse care etc
-introduction to Barrel Racing (you require a horse)
-Camp program
-leasing

You will be directed to contact Jade Farrington ,
Jade is the proud owner & operator of Cowboy & Angels Horse Farm which functions within Hot 2 Trot Stables. Jade & her crew of coaches will provide you with a safe, knowledgeable and fun experience. We cannot thank Jade & her program for bringing so many new friends to h2t.

Please remember when stepping foot onto our property, this isn't just another horse stable, this is Megan's home , for both her & her horses. Our boarders & clients also require the same respect as they trust us to keep up with the best care & Safety for both their horses & tack.
If you are a visitor please keep that in mind as well , please do not leave garbage behind, all dogs must be leashed & p**ped picked up. Do not feed horses without consent - just like humans some horses are a little more sensitive then others.
If you are only here as an events spectator for your own safety we please ask to stay on the Grassed area (south side) of the large event arena. If you are not familiar with horses this can be a safety risk to you & riders.

We do our best to be welcoming & home away from home to anyone visiting us.

Please read the following - Please remember we try our best, it may not seem like alot goes into a jackpot but anyone who's taken part in hosting or running a show knows the behind the scenes. So please take into consideration that we are trying out best to please everyone.

• There MUST be a minimum of 20 riders, if their is Not 20 pre-entries Or messages Stating your coming & entering at the show ( to us or Sheri Day) by 8:00PM TUESDAY night we will not run and notifications will be made by 8:30pm Tuesday Aug 18th

• Jackpot is a jackpot .. knocked pole or barrel No time,- collect your horse and exit the ring - Save the grounds.

• our fees are set due to high cost of fuel, ground up keep and staffing etc - we try our best to make them affordable & have good pay outs - if you'd like to Sponor or add money please reach out.

• Cash in , Cash out .. Please do not come to the booth until 20 minutes after the Last run, no you can Not get your money early, please wait to collect your winnings - Winnings MUST be picked up night of or have a secondary person sign off and collect for you (Proof of permission is required I.e text message)

• Arrival /opening riding can begin as early as 4:30pm all open riding must be done in upper arena

• Expos & Booth will open at 5:00pm until 6:30pm
Draws & ring prep happen for a 7:00pm start.

•All dogs on leashes & scoop your p**p 💩

• Auntie karins canteen will be based off attendance (Cash only - Hot dogs, ice cream, waffles , drinks ..simple yet delicious)

🐴 Hot 2 Trot update!

We’re excited to share that we’ve just installed brand new stall mats — and next up, we’re working on getting the new painted fronts done!

The main barn now has fresh new mats and kick boards throughout, making things safer and more comfortable for the horses.

We’re proud to continue making yearly upgrades, along with providing great hay quality and excellent horse care. 🐴❤️
