Factory Friday: We sew it. Everything is sewn in-house right here in Canada. We build our shirts to last, but we also offer button, collar, and cuff replacements through our customer service to keep your favorite rugby fresh for years to come.

Built for the game. We mean that literally. Decades ago, Barbarian was founded on the rugby pitch, and that heritage is why our fabric is significantly heavier than what you will find anywhere else.

Take the 40-year-old shirt in this story. It belongs to our current owner, who wore it back in the 80s while playing for Carleton University. He loved the quality and durability so much he eventually bought the company. Today, we still knit that same heavyweight fabric, cut the patterns by hand, and sew every piece in-house right here in Canada.

While these traditional cotton jerseys have become a staple in streetwear: proof that quality and authentic style never go out of fashion: the high-end craft remains our top priority.
