Tri-City Roller Derby’s home team Storm is hosting a beginner/intermediate scrimmage! ⛈️

To play in this scrimmage you will need to have been cleared for contact/scrimmaging with your home league. 💥

Bring both black & white jerseys. Our goal here is to have fun, play some derby, and learn along the way! 🖤🤍

When: August 16, 2026 from 11am-12:30pm
Where: Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, 101 Father David Bauer Dr, Waterloo, ON N2L 2J2, Canada
Cost: $10 (payment instructions sent upon confirmation of spot in the scrimmage)

Rough schedule:
10:40am - Gear up
11:00am - On-skates warm up
11:10am - First whistle
12:20pm - Gear down

As the dust settles on an incredible weekend of WFTDA Regional Playoffs Ontario, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event possible.

Hosting this tournament was an honour, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of such a passionate, talented, and supportive community. We hope everyone left Waterloo with great memories, new friendships, and a renewed love for roller derby.
