Recently the Blades held our AGM and Awards presentation.
The season was amazing and our skaters worked so hard to achieve their personal bests. We're so excited to see everyone again next season!

This years award winners were:
Rising Star Award - Parker
Outstanding Achievement Award - Lucas
George Donatelli Dedication to Speed Skating Award - Karren
Skater's Choice Award - Niamh (not present)

A big thank you to our head Coach, Julian as well as our dedicated Junior Coaches Jesse, Yannick, Lucas, Abby and Zack.

We are excited to be offering summer ice this in August 2026.
(These sessions require previous speed skating experience. For beginners, please ask about out our "Come Try Speed Skating" sessions.)

**Each Ice times will be divided into 2 groups -
100m track and 111m high performance group.

Registration will open June/July 2026.

🥈🥉 Olympic Throwback Moment! 🇨🇦

Let’s rewind to the 1988 Olympic Winter Games and celebrate Mission’s own Eden Donatelli Green, who brought home Silver and Bronze for Canada on the Olympic stage!

From BC roots to Olympic podiums, her performances in Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics remain an inspiring chapter in BC and Canada's speed skating history. Eden's legacy still shines bright as a coach today! Who remembers watching these races?

Lucas, Jesse and Zack (and Coach Julian!) took part in WEC #2 last weekend and did an amazing job. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to Jimmy and Jackie on your awesome skating at BC Long Track in Fort St John last weekend. You have made us very proud! Keep up the good work!

We are SO EXCITED to be hosting W.E.C next month!! Registration is OPEN and the volunteer list is READY!!!
